Yes.  exmh gives the "no more colors left in colormap" error when you
have all your colormap entries taken up by other programs at the time
you start it up.  Possible culprits are web browsers, image viewers,
and background images on your screen.  You should try typing
'xsetroot' before starting exmh if you have a background image, or,
alternatively quit netscape before starting exmh (it should be safe to
start netscape afterwards, after exmh has the colormap entries it
needs).
