Hi -
I was just running "lynx" from CASCADE, a decmips machine to which I telnet
in to work. I surfed a bit, then used "q" to quit. It didn't quit. Instead
it apparnetly spun its wheels for a while, driving up the load. So I kill'd the
process. No change. Finally I kill -9'd the process, which worked.
Here's the PS line, from right after the 1st kill attempt:
