Not that it matters from me but I agree with Ted on almost everything
except one thing. The release of xlssaver and the fascism of xscreensaver
is merely coincidental. We have been planning xlssaver for the better part
of last week. I just wanted to say this so you don't think that I'm
intentionally trying to go against or get involved in what you guys do,
though I'm full of opinions at times.
I copied the sources out of sipbsrc (yes I attached it, I'm guilty). The sources
stated that I may copy, distribute and modify the code as long as I presreve the
copyright header and I sent improvements back to him (you can copy them
from /mit/ls/src/xlssaver).
I may be convinced that I should restrict access to the xlssaver code
if it was hurting anyone but I don't believe in security via obscurity
and I don't speak for everyone behind LSI.
