This is a really poor bug report. Please chastise yourself for it :-(.

So where's the corefile?
Does the problem repeat? Does it always happen?
Did you have pop-mail at the time? How far did it get? What does running
tcpdump simultaneously show?
I've rebuild pmail with debugging, as /build/pmail/src/pmail on granola.
Please try and reproduce the problem with the stock pmail, and if so,
then try and get me a core from the version in /build.
