I don't know if it is a common problem or not, but I know of at least
one other person who has encountered it, so...
A fair amount of the time using xscreensaver to lock the screen, I am
unable to unlock it. It prompts for my password, waits a long time,
and then goes back to the locked state. This happens maybe 50-75% of
the time I lock the screen, with no discernible pattern. It also
happens both when I use my account password or a key specified in my X
resources.
