Greg:
I've done an fs sa /mit/tex ghudson all; let me know if you need more
from me. The /mit/tex locker was used for my development efforts when I
was in charge of All Things TeXish for Athena; anything useful that
came out of it went into /usr/athena/lib/tex. Feel free to blow it
all away.
You may also want to take advantage of the texfonts locker and tex-guru
list.
(BTW, I have a Window program that I wrote just this past weekend to
convert a TrueType font to a set of tfm and pk files. I assume that
with the push towards ResNet and students hooking up their own
machines, of which a large percentage will be Windows boxes, that
I/S or SIPB has plans to provide a package of sbtex, dviwin, etc.
In a few days my tttopk should be done (I need to make it a bit
more robust when encountering errors), and if the SIPB or I/S or
whoever wants to include it, please let me know.)
