The problem is that somehow hearts_dist program on charon had died.
I've restarted it. If you have this problem in the future, just
send mail to bug-sipb asking that someone restart hearts_dist. Have
fun!

I reported this problem a couple of weeks ago (to bug-sipb or
sipb-staff, I think, although I might be mistaken) -- the hearts
server seems to be dead most of the time, which would seem to imply
that it is dying for some specific reason.
Is there anybody around who has worked on the hearts code and might
know why it seems to die a lot?
