Hello,
In preparation for increased support of Silicon Graphics machines on
campus, the following preparations have being made:
Appropriate directories have been created in /mit/sipb and
/mit/outland. These include sgi_52bin, sgi_52lib, sgi_52etc, sgi_52
(in sipb), and .*.sgi_52 (in outland). Those in the sipb locker will
become visible when the volume is next released.
The mailing list sipb-sgi-dev has been requested. It will be a
private list and group used within SIPB for coordinating the porting
and development of software for SGI's.
The public mailing list sgi-help has been requested. It will be used
for discussing using Athena-related software on Silicon Graphics
machines and for asking any other SGI-releated questions.
As soon as these mailing lists are created, please feel free to add
yourself.
