What were you trying to do?
Use "Save As..." in a directory with no subdirectories
except . and ..
What's wrong:
The pop-up window that appears has a directory column whose
size apparently is determined by the longest directory name, which is
very small. Then the whole pop-up window is very narrow horizontally,
so the "Format for saved document: <format>" (where <format> is
the format and leads to a pull-down menu) is truncated by not showing
the <format> at all. So to specify the format, it is necessary to
use Alt-F7 to expand the window, which is somewhat awkward.
What should have happened:
Perhaps the width of the directory list should be the maximum
of (1) a fixed number, determined so that <format> will appear in full;
and (2) the maximum length of a directory name, as it is now.
