Many users have /afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/tex/fonts in their TEXFONTS
variable.
`many'? I find that quite surprising; I'd expect the number to be
less than 10; certainly less than 20. In any case, those files are
all owned by root, which implies that they used to be owned by Calvin,
and that they have no maintainer right now. Given that I know that
bert plans to replace /afs/sipb/project/tex completely sometime after
he returns to this hemisphere, and given that once release 7.7 hits
the clusters Athena's [La]TeX will be newer than SIPB's (it went into
it's first cluster last wednesday), I'd suggest that you change your
TEXFONTS variable to remove all mentions of the sipb locker and
project.tex completely.
If someone else wants to make symlinks or something, feel free. :-)
