What were you trying to do?
Fill in the "URL To Open:" field given by pressing the "Open..."
button; or the "Mail To:" or "Subject:" field given, for example,
by selecting "Hotlist..." under "Navigate", and then "Mail To..."
What's wrong:
Whenever I fill in a field such as the ones listed above, the
first character I type is NOT displayed; a blank is displayed instead.
All characters following it are displayed. If I use the arrows or
editing keys (ctrl-f,b,...) to reposition the cursor at the start of
the field, any character I type WILL appear, so long as the field is
not empty; if I clear the field (with "Clear" or ctrl-a ctrl-k, etc.),
however, then again, the first character typed will not appear.
