Mail that doesn't get delivered

I have sent some mail to a large list of recipients, using RMAIL and an
alias expansion, and including myself using the CC field. I have not
received my copy of this mail, sent at 07:00 today, and as far as I can
tell, neither have any of the other recipients. There has been no answer
at the SIPB office all morning, which is not really surprising, but I am
feeling rather urgent about this mail.
Is there a mechanism to allow inspection of the outgoing mailer
queues? Is there a command I can issue to show me the state of this
mail or whether it even got enqueued? (I suppose that RMAIL in GNU
Emacs could've failed to enqueue it although that would be
surprising.)
I sent this mail twice. Neither copy has come back to me. However,
as far as I can tell, outgoing mail still works. Other mail I have
sent since has delivered its CCs to me.
