You both sent mail to bug-sipb about problems with the webster server.

In both cases, the reason you got, "The webster server appears to be
broken," is because you asked the server to do a query that takes
longer than the 15-second RPC timeout to execute.

The 15 second timeout is a compromise between a timeout that is long
enough for all long queries to execute and a timeout that is short
enough so that if the first RPC packet gets lost, the next one will
get sent in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm considering upping the timeout a few seconds, and/or switching
back from RPC to tcp sockets.

Thanks for reporting the problem; however, you might see it happen
again before I have a chance to do something about it :-)
