Subject: exmh doesn't work on dialups (ubuntu)

When I try to run exmh on the dialups, I get:

~>add sipb
add: warning: using compatibility for /mit/sipb
~>exmh
Error in startup script: child process exited abnormally
    while executing
"exec athdir /afs/athena/project/mime bin"
    invoked from within
"if [file executable "/usr/bin/metamail"] {
    set mime(dir) "/usr/bin"
} else {
    set mime(dir) [exec athdir /afs/athena/project/mime bin]
}"
    (file "/mit/sipb/arch/i386_ubuntu904/bin/exmh" line 34)

Ironically, just before that I had tried to use "mailto" from the mime
locker and got:

~>add mime
add: warning: /mit/mime has no binary directory

and that's why I was trying to run exmh.

Anyway, I know mh is ancient, and it looks like the dialups are
running ubuntu:

~>uname -a
Linux buzzword-bingo 2.6.32-28-server #55-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jan 10 23:57:16 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux

but if anyone knows of an easy way to make the two of them work
together, that would be great.

Thanks,

Sara
