removing this version in a few weeks. You can achieve the same
functionality by adding the following line to your ~/.login.mine file:

		      setenv MANPATH /usr/ucb:/usr/sipb/man

Note that this will _only_ affect man pages for SIPB programs. Man
pages for Athena software will work as they always have. If you have
questions, please contact the SIPB office at 3-7788.

I don't like solutions that only go halfway, and this would be one of
them. In order to do this right, we would have to also mention the
old .login file as well, and describe how to modify it. If we're
going to do that we might as well just inlude the whole chapter from
the Inessential Guide.

I think that people who discover they suddenly can't get sipb man
pages (I am almost certain that this will be a very small number of
people) will either ask us or ask in olc, and (despite any opinion of
olc you may have) either source can answer a question sufficiently
well to explain what a MANPATH is better than a shell script can
(IMHO).

If you really want to see a shell script installed, then give me
something that describes both types of .login files.
