Problem 1: I can't duplicate the coredump.  EXACTLY what did you do in
the invocation of xfig that coredumped?  Did you specify the file name
to load on the command line, or load it with the popup?  What
directory were you in?  Did you do anything besides load the file and
then quit?  What version of AIX was the RS/6000 you were using
running?

Problem 2: I can't get dbx on rosebud to run with either of the
coredumps you got -- it says "dbx: fatal error: can't open
/usr/lib/libc.a".  Gdb (from /afs/sipb/project/gnu/bin) says "Could
not load program gdb\nSymbol fp_rase_xcp in gdb is undefined".

Since I can't reproduce the problem, I can't report it to the
maintainer.  Since I can't get gdb or dbx to run on rosebud, I can't
debug it.  If you can give me more details, or if you want to pursue
it yourself, feel free.
