Is this an official release of ytalk by its maintainer, or an
independent release by the person who added the encryption stuff.
The address in the announcement you forwarded is not the same as the
address of the maintainer listed in the README file of the sources we
have in the sipbsrc locker. This means that either (a) the
maintainer's address has changed, (b) the program has been taken over
by a new maintainer, or (c) this is not an official release of the
program.
I do not think it a good idea to install this version if (c) is the
case. I am also reluctant to install it as a separate program in the
locker, because maintaining two different versions of a program is a
pain in the ass. Are the changes in this version going to be folded
back into the real version of the program?
