I have noticed that when doing file downloads over dial-up I get
corrupted files if my connection to athena is thru a DEC work station vs.
a RT work station. In particular if I try to do a sz download while connected
thru a dec station the files will be corrupted. If I connect thru a RT station,
no problem. This occurs even when connected thru the same pasta machine. The
solution has been to specify a RT machine if I want to do a download,however
this will become difficult soon as I am told the RT machines will be replaced
with DEC and VAX stations.Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?
