I'd suggest trying the node name utxvm instead, e.g.,
mtad516@utxvm.bitnet
Note that the last letter of the node name should be 'm', not 'n'.
I don't know how to verify that the userid 'mtad516' actually exists
on that system, but they definitely do have a number of userids of the
format
letter-letter-letter-letter-number-number-number
so there may be a good chance it's OK.
Also, you might as well send the mail directly via the Internet:
mtad516@utxvm.cc.utexas.edu
