Does your password consistently not work on any VAXstation 3100
workstation, or just one?
On a VAXstation 3100, please run this command and send me its output:
perl -e 'print crypt("aa", "bbbbb"), "\n";
Lease the "aa" alone, but replace the "bbbbb" with your password.
Don't send me your password!
Then, run the same command on the IBM workstation and send me the
output again.
