Sometimes, our news server loses posted articles. This will be fixed
soon, because we are going to be switching to new software.
More often, there is something wrong with your article that causes it
to be discarded. The server is supposed to tell you when this occurs,
rather than accepting the article and then discarding it, but it
doesn't quite work right now. This, too, will be fixed when we switch
to the new software.
It is a good idea to keep copies of your articles until you're sure
they've been posted correctly. You can use the "Save" button in the
composition window in xrn to do this.
As for your problems with KILL files -- do they happen every time you
use xrn? Do you have a directory "News" in your home directory? If
so, what is in it?
