There are serious problems with XFig 2.1.6, the currently installed
versions, on the RT and the DECstation, and less serious problems on
the RS6k (surprise! :). On the RT (mono) it produces truely unique
   Xserver lossage,

Is it X server lossage or xfig lossage? If the former, what should I
do about it? Could you be more specific than "truely [sic] unique?"

on the DECstation (grayscale 5k/133) it warps curves
   in amusing ways,

If this happens only on the DECstation, how can I know that it is not
also X server lossage and not xfig lossage? Could you be more
specific, like telling me how to duplicate it?

and on the rs6k (grayscale) it simply has problems
   with the tool icons.

This is a known problem that is fixed in the next AIX release.

  jik
