First of all, mail about problems with programs in the sipb locker
should be reported to bug-sipb, not to sipb.
Second, please use a meaningful Subject line when sending mail.
Third, could you give us more details about what is going on? What
kind of dialup machine (vax or decmips) are you transferring from
(what does "echo $hosttype" return on the dialup machine?) when you
have trouble? What command, exactly, are you typing? Do you have
your modem configured properly, for 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no
parity? Have you typed "terminal download" at the CPT prompt before
typing the name of the host you want to log into? Does your Macintosh
comm program display any errors when it aborts? What comm program are
you using?
