If the "add" command does not work, then you have modified your
account so that it does not use the standard Athena configuration
files.
Since we do not have read access to your home directory, we cannot
help you figure out how to put the "add" command back into your
system.
Note that Athena recommends that if you don't understand what the
standard configuration files do, enough to fix problems like this
yourself, you should use the standard ones rather than trying to use
non-standard ones.
For more help with this problem, I suggest you talk to the Athena user
consultants. You can do that by using the "olc" program, or by
calling x3-4435, or by going to room 11-115 during their office hours
(which you can find out by using the "hours" command inside olc).
