I believe my OLC question was under "unix" but it might have been under "dialup"
I'm not sure.
OK, specifically, when I try to use them, I get BAD BLOCK or similar messages
from my end on Procomm. Similar messages occur using other programs such as
Windows Terminal or Telix. So essentially the file transfer is aborted and I
get either no file transferred or only the beginning portion. By the way, rz
DOES work. Unfortunately, Procomm doesn't have it.
Something must have changed, I don't know, because I am absolutely sure that rx
and rb worked before the summer; they do not know, and my configuration on my
computer has not changed. My problem HAS been duplicated by a friend on his
machine using Telix.
term download has been recommended many times to me - it doesn't affect success.
Besides, I never had to do that last year.
