Is the project.dvi2ps volume still needed?
It isn't mounted on /afs/sipb/project/dvi2ps, and evidently hasn't
been for a while (see also [0556] in SIPB-AFS-requests). I made a
temporary mountpoint on /afs/sipb/user/mhpower/dvi2ps.
The files (all owned by jtkohl) are dated August 1987, and can be used
to make dvi2ps from 20 source files. Altogether, it's about 4 Mb.
By contrast, the dvi2ps distribution in /afs/sipb/project/sipbsrc/src
builds the binary from two source files (dvi2ps.c and findfile.c), and
has files dated starting from June 1987.
Evidently, there've been a number of completely different versions of
dvi2ps (see [0667] in SIPB bug reports) -- is this just some other one
that we tried once, and no one needs anymore?
