Hello,
I have been having consistant problems with the dialup maxine
and the modem file transfer program sz, which implements Zmodemfile
transfer.
Whenever I try to send binary files (actually all are MacBinary
since I use a mac at home) I get some weird fluff appended to the end of
the transmission of each file. Text files come through fine. Here is a
transcript of some downloads today.

The most annoying part of this problem is shown in the first line of the
transcript: If several files are sent in batch mode, only the first gets
through. I use Zterm 0.9 here at home, and tried a different program,
White Knight to see if Zterm was the problem, but White Knight had the
same problem. In fact, white knight would abort the whole download,
whereas Zterm would get the first file fine.
I have not been able to reproduce these problems on the dialup
RT's or VAXen, only on the maxine. I have also noticed several other
users asking olc questions about the same thing, so I doubt the problem
is only mine. Please let me know if more information is needed. Thanks
for listening.
