I have made some fixes to nntp.pl, extended the timeouts to the values
suggested by Matt, so nntpfetch, etc. should be more stable now. I sent
the changes back to the author, who seems to have vanished from the
usenet.
I also updated the version of the nntp utilities from
release 0.0.00.1 rev. A to release 0.05. There are two new programs:
nntpcheck and uucollector.
