What were you trying to do?
repeatedly, use the "Change Lock Message" option in one
invocation of xscreensaver.
What's wrong:
The window used to enter the new message remembers where on
the screen it appears the first time, and always reappears there.
What should have happened:
The window should always appear under the cursor.
Note that there are also sometimes interactions with vtwm such that on
the first use of the option the window appears on the virtual; scvreen
where the cursor is on the actual screen.
