I was in the
Put newsgroup where? level. I did not want to be there. Typing h did
not give me any way to not put the group anywhere
I typed Ctrl-C. Nothing happened.
I typed Ctrl-C again:
Put newsgroup where? [$^L]
Bye-bye.
Caught an internal error--.newsrc restored
My .newsrc was *not* restored. It was gone.
What I think it should do:
At the Put newsgroup where? it should accept 'u' to unsubscribe, instead of
makeing one subsribe then unsubscribe.
Ctrl-C should never erase your .newsrc file. At a bare minimum it should grab
my .oldnewsrc and use that (I assume that's what it normally does)
This is reproducible. I'm running on PODGE.
