Since the one in the modem locker will be getting maintained, shall we
punt the one in the sipb locker, temporarily replacing it with a
script that points people at the modem locker?

Hi! Just so you all know -- the program "kermit.new" in
the "modem" locker is a windowing version of kermit (like
"wermit" in the sipb locker). There's some help in it,
but there doesn't seem to be a man page.
