For some reason, the user did not want to leave her name or any
information on how to contact her, should we come up with a procedure
for converting these files.
Well, that's a problem. I'm not going to go digging into the xfig
sources for ghost bugs that I don't understand without any way to
duplicate them. If the user to whom you spoke wasn't willing to let
us see the problematic files, then there really isn't anything to do
except wait and see if someone who is more cooperative experiences the
bug.
