Hi. When I started up xdvi (either in bg or fg) and clicked on
shrink4 THEN shrink3, the xdvi window disappears. This happened in
two different .dvi files of mine. Whenever one clicks on shrink4
followed by shrink3, this seems to happen.
I can make the files readable if you like, but I bet it will work on
any .dvi file.
I cannot duplicate this with the xdvi I have just installed into the
sipb locker.
Please wait until tomorrow (so that the sipb locker volume is
released), run /mit/sipb/bin/xdvi on one of your DVI files that
exhibits this behavior, and see if it persists. If so, please tell us
where we can find the DVI file that causes xdvi to crash, and we will
look at it.
