This may be a user error, but there was a report of intermittent
operation of ytalk in OLC (see [4930] in OLC-networks). The specific
error message mentioned was "Network family not supported [47]".
I have seen this error with old talk. It is not obvious to me whether
the user is saying that he gets that error from talk.old or ytalk. If
the former, then it may be a problem that ytalk fixes; if the latter,
then it may be something that ytalk can't fix.
I've looked through both the talk and ytalk sources, and can't find
code that would print an error in that format, although admittedly I
may have missed it, so I can't figure out which program is printing
the error.
Overall, without more details from the user, it is impossible for us
to do anything more. Even with more details, I suspect all that would
happen is us forwarding a bug report back to the author of ytalk.
