For those of you who might be motivated to try to compile the "TeXcad"
package from the comp.sources.x archives for the sipb locker -- don't
bother. I just spent well over five hours getting it to compile, only
to discover (well, actually, it was a confirmation of a suspicion)
that it doesn't do anything that xfig doesn't do.
