I took a look through sipbsrc the other day, and noticed a few random
things:

[yandros:92-06-08:00.17.14-EST]
----------------
otcsh Older version of tcsh, maybe for quiche??? (1991)
cal Slightly different version of cal. (1987)
check_x9700.sh	check queue on nonexistant printer via nonexistant machine. (1987)
chemtab Is this legal? It's not installed anywhere. (1991)
conference	Seems desupported; source is gone, RCS remains. (1989)
cardfile	Older card-catalog system. (1991)
go Not installed; seems corrupt; maybe made obsolete by games locker (1989)
have_mail.c	Old, uninstalled, replaced by pfrom? (1986)
kaleid Old X prog. (1990)
l2a replaced by detex, I think. (1991)
macdump Unused, uninstalled. (1988)
nn I'm sure we decided this wasn't feasable for Athena. (1990)
*.x10* We're not going back...
prototype	I think we can expect people to find thesis on their own now...
psdvi different version of dvi2ps. Does dvips obsolete this? uninstalled. (1988)
ptoc on the packs; not in sipb locker. (1989)
spider symlink to the games locker. Why?
vine X program; not installed anywhere. (1990)
world old text game; uninstalled. (1987)
xmelt xmeltdown and xflip; not installed; partially in softbone/potluck. (1990)
xplaces Interesting X prog; uninstalled. (1990)
xzwrite Is ours different? (1991)
lib/recipies duplicates cookbook/recipies; do we care?

There are also a bunch of *.old's that should probably be reviewed
more closely...

Anyone want to elaborate one any of these? The listing is in
/afs/sipb/user/yandros/project/sipb/sipbsrc-questions, and the dir is
gsipb:all, so make whatever changes need to be made. I'm thinking
I'll gather up the comments, do some dumping to tape, and them some
cleanup in a while.

Any comments?
