I just tried running /usr/sipb/vaxbin/edsc, and it works fine. Are you
sure that was the edsc that you ran?
(actually, isn't edsc supposed to print ; and some banner first? well,
it's just exiting here, exit status seems to be 0. In other words, it
doesn't work... specifically, on tsx-11, a 7.4B vax.)
No, edsc only prints the banner in response to the command (gpv) --- get
protocol version.
