This is probably not the right mailing list, so I apologize in
advance if it is not. I notice that you have the ARC and ZOO archiver
in the sipb directory, but no ZIP/UNZIP archiver. This exists
for UNIX (can be found from anonymous ftp at wuarchive.wustl.edu
under packages/compression in tar.Z format). I have compiled the
unzip utility and it seems to work ok. Can this be installed
in the sipb directory along with ARC and ZOO so it doesn't
take up space in my account?

bug-sipb is the proper list to make sipb software suggestions. unzip is
already available on athena in the potluck directory, so you nor we need
to keep it around. I haven't heard of much trouble with it being in
potluck, so I think until there is, we'll just refer people over.
It is true that unzip is available in the potluck locker; however,
that is an old version of the program, and besides, zip is not
available in potluck.
Therefore, I have installed both zip and unzip clients, as well as
several other clients that come with the zip distribution, in the sipb
locker.
Thank you for your input.
