xfig doesn't handle names with spaces

a user was having trouble printing something from xfig; it turned out
that the file name was "Figure 4-1.fig" and that lpr is getting run in
such a way that the space isn't quoted; lpr -J Figure 4-1.fig -Ppython
(and thus it complained about printer "default" not being found. It
actually sends the output via a pipe...)
