If you have difficulty reading specific messages in exmh, it
would be useful to test whether the problem is with exmh, or with
the messages.

Are you familiar with command-line tools to read MH mail?
Try to use them to read these specific messages, to see if it
works or fails.

For a message number "99" in your "inbox" folder, you can read
that message by running a command at the Athena prompt:

athena% show +inbox 99

Please try this, and let us know if you can read the troublesome
messages from the commandline. (Also, please keep replies going
to bug-sipb, not me personally.)
