Per http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=583069 '9998 is not
ANI, it is the Calling Party Number (CPN). At MIT, it tends to
return 617-253-10xx, not the correct MIT number.
There are several other numbers they list, like
800-444-4444 (which also seems to the CPN).
Traditionally rolodex hasn't been in the business of listing national
CPN and ANI numbers, though I guess we could start now.
I'd prefer not to list something as ANI that gives misleading info on
the MIT campus, though I guessw we could come up with another name for
it. Though there are several other numbers that perhaps we should list
instead. like 888-294-9681
(cf. http://massis.lcs.mit.edu/telecom-archives/TELECOM_Digest_Online/0739.html)
I'm sort of loathe to touch any of this at all, and am not quite happy
with the standards...

These tend to vary from switch to switch. It wouldn't surprise me
in the CMBRMA switches differed from others. Though I don't recall
exactly where that number works. If someone knows we could clarify.
