Damn, jik wasn't at that meeting. :-)

At the time, the plan was to use it as build space for the PS/2 and (I
think) the NeXT.  At this point, even I have given up on AIX 1.2 (but
not the PS/2 in general.. :-).  However, we are going to need build
space for new architectures (the RS/6000) Real Soon Now.  I have not
been keeping up-to-date on the specifics of new machines/new disk
space.  If we don't need the space immediately, I guess we should give
it up. 

However, (1) if we do, some people (jh comes to mind) will complain
that we are unfairly unsupporting a class of users just because it is
convenient for us to do so (and they would be at least partly right),
and (2) it is not at all clear to me that our giving up 90 meg now
will have any affect on our getting additional disk space in the
future.

Now that I've completely contradicted myself... :-)
