The reason that this has stopped working is that people were using
the old font names with the new program, and getting errors in their
output. (If you want the technical reason, ask me personally.) To
prevent people from accidentally using the wrong fonts, we disabled
the old tfms with the new dvips.
Use phvro [Postscript HelVetica ROman] instead of h-med.
