I got gnus to work on the ps2 by putting tcp.el and tcp.elc into our
elisp directory and installing the "tcp" binary in ps2bin. So you
need to have sipb in your path for it to work, but besides that, you
shouldn't notice anything.
Of course, the *real* way to fix this is to recompile emacs so that it
has open-network-stream built in, but that's another story.
