   Actually, I should refine that bug report a little....you *can*
   successfully specify the float.bitmap, but xscreensaver doesn't bother to
   check if you have it specified before it goes off and tries to specify
   /usr/sipb/bitmaps.x11/SigmaPiBeta as the bitmap file.  Thus, if you don't
   have sipb attached but you have your own float.bitmap specified, it will
   report an error anyway.  After reporting the error, it will do the right
   thing and load the user-specified bitmap, but it is really an annoyance.

The "iconPixmap" resource is what's causing the error, not the
"float.bitmap" resource.  They are set to the same filename in the
application defaults file
(/afs/athena/contrib/sipb/lib/app-defaults/XScreensaver).

If you don't want to get the error, then put an
"xscreensaver*iconPixmap" setting in your .Xresources.
