Take a look at Article 31708 in talk.politics.mideast. Notice how the
Date: line interrupts the References: line. I typed the References:
in a multi-line header line, with each continuation line starting with
a tab, but somewhere in between when I clicked on "Send" and when it
got to the net, it got scrod. Xrn is probably the culprit.

Fixed, at least in the 6.14 beta version. I don't really feel like
back-engineering the changes into 6.13. The patch to 6.14 applies in
6.13, but there may be unforseen complications and I don't feel like
looking for them.
