I have a PostScript file in my home directory which I sent over from my
Macintoch. The file is /mit/aprigopu/postscript0 and it's world-readable.
Please install it in the macps configuration stuff.
First of all, the file in your home directory is world-writeable as
well as world-readable; I doubt that's what you intend.
Second, all of the line-endings were marked with a ctrl-M instead of a
ctrl-J. I fixed that by replacing all of the ctrl-M's with ctrl-J's
in the file, but I might have done other unknown damage in the process
(i.e. there may be ctrl-M's in the file that are actually supposed to
be ctrl-M's, and they got erased). You should try to figure out how
to get the file transferred with ctrl-J's instead of ctrl-M's, but if
you can't we'll try to deal with it as-is.
Third, every 'Y' in the entire file was replaced with the string
\2000020000. I have no idea why this happened, but even after I
changed them all back to 'Y', I couldn't get your file to print with
the fixed AppleDict.
The fact that the file was corrupt as I've described above leads me to
believe that the reason I couldn't get it to work after fixing the
corruption was that it is also corrupt in other ways. Please try to
do the file transfer again, and we'll see if it gets transferred
correctly this time.
