Subject: Your OLC question about "other"

--------

David,

You recently entered a question in olc:

> Is it me or does idraw have severe problems keeping things aligned
> with the grid? (Gridding is on.)

I'm sorry we couldn't answer your question while you were logged in.

I have used idraw and found the grid very frustrating. Even though
sometimes the grid appears to line up on the screen, the printout
doesn't always correspond. This seems to be a problem with the
implementation in idraw. To complain, you can send mail to:

	bug-sipb@athena.mit.edu

Hopefully, someone will take some time to fix it up! That's the best I
can recommend since idraw is sipb software, not athena. Thank you for
using olc.

-------------
When I duplicate and move a figure, to keep it on the grid I have to do
a precise move specified to 1/4 point. When I do a copy, paste, and move
of a compound object, sometimes some parts of the object get moved further
than others. I've more or given up on idraw and will see how xfig turns out.
