I hadn't used the Solaris micq client (sipb locker) in a while and
trying
recently I see the following behavior:
% micq
Matt's ICQ clone compiled on 21:28:00 Mar 4 2000
Version 0.4.3 now with increased network stability.
This program was made without any help from Mirabilis or their consent.
No reverse engineering or decompilation of any Mirabilis code took place
to make this program.
Enter password : Using motorola byte ordering.
Discarded a Login packet.
Connection unstable. Exiting....

There appear to be much newer releases at micq.org - should this be
updated?
