The switch-over to a new NetNews server described in my message of
Wed, 24 Oct 90 20:23:53 -0400 (see cfyi[3493]) took place last night.
This means that, as I reported in that message, users who have stuff
in their .emacs file to deal with gnus are going to start having
trouble. Please be aware of how to help them fix this problem (once
again, see cfyi[3493]).
